In the 11th century, Le Pallet saw the birth of Pierre Abélard, a renowned theologian and philosopher. In the 19th century, the Romanticism movement was passionate about its tragic relationship with its young student, Héloïse. These cursed lovers fascinate the artists, giving rise to an abundant artistic production. From engravings to large wall decorations, reliquaries to decorative arts, the works spread and make their history one of the most popular of the time.
This exhibition entitled «Exhibition of National Interest» brings together about twenty of these exceptional objects.
