During the summer of 2025, women will be in the spotlight in the Vignoble Nantais. The Château de Goulaine is taking part by offering a themed tour entitled "The Women of Goulaine". Come and discover the château, whose history is intimately linked to the destinies of some exceptional women, all of whom have left their mark on the millennia-old stones of this place.
Over the centuries, the Château de Goulaine has not only witnessed the great events of French history: it has also been the setting for the lives of some remarkable women. Wives, mothers, builders, patrons of the arts or estate managers, the women of the de Goulaine family have often played a key role in the shadows... and sometimes in the light.
This tour invites you to discover these sometimes forgotten but always essential figures, who have shaped the soul of the château and contributed to its renown. Through portraits, anecdotes and archives, meet the people who, each in their own way, have left their mark on the history of Goulaine|
