You may know a street named after them, or an anecdote or a legend, but what do you know about them? 13 women who left their mark on the region are presented in an exhibition that crosses eras and themes: gastronomy, war, architecture, winegrowing... The research, personal accounts and archives gathered here reveal a facet of local history that is often overlooked or incomplete, and destinies that sometimes run counter to current prejudices.
