The Cordeliers convent, where the flames engulfed everything.
Description
The Cordeliers were established in Clisson in 1410. After being burnt down in 1793-94, some of their stone deposits were used to rebuild the surrounding area. Only a fragment of the chapel's façade, a doorway with a moulded pediment and some of the church's arcades remain from this tragedy. The convent is now in private ownership, but can still be seen from the street.
During the European Heritage Days, the owners allow access for certain events.
