Description
Founded by 2 brother and sister, the Distillerie Chalambiquée is the fruit of a wonderful encounter between a project and a place in its own right. The Sainte Radegonde estate was already home to the excellent Clos du Pont Marmite and the Soma brewery. The distillery adds a new level of expertise, a source of wonderful collaborations. Family craftsmanship, sustainable agriculture and creative taste are the projects that drive this unique place, in the heart of the Nantes vineyards!
Our distillery produces and markets a range of artisan gins, plant and citrus liqueurs, and fine eaux de vie from our region. We also produce a revisited pastis featuring local aromatic plants. Finally, we offer non-alcoholic syrups for cocktails and pastries, designed to bring out the incomparable flavours that plants have to offer.
We work exclusively with organic ingredients, sourced locally. Eventually, our project will include a farming component, with the cultivation and harvesting of the plants used in our recipes.
In our quest for quality, we use traditional stills for our production. As well as perpetuating tradition, this traditional equipment, combined with our modern know-how, guarantees subtle, authentic aromas.
