Day 1 Cycling between vineyards and heritage the vineyards of Clisson

Morning The "Le Vignoble à Vélo" loops saddling up in the vineyards

Day breaks over the vineyards. In the cool of the morning, the Vignoble à Vélo trails open up to you. From your starting point, hop on your bike – available for hire from Endur’cycles or Talbicyclette – and let yourself be guided along one of the six signposted loops. Between vineyards and hedgerows, the landscape unfolds like a living canvas. A chapel, a wash-house, a wine storehouse… Here, every bend tells a story.

Midi Gourmet break at La Cabane on your cycling and canoeing weekend

At lunchtime, take a seat at La Cabane, a charming wine cellar in the heart of the vineyards. Perched high above the vines, your dishes will be dressed up with local produce. You’ll be served the estate’s wines*, including the fresh Muscadet, to savour under an enveloping grape variety. A fine balance between terroir and conviviality.

Afternoon A sensory diversions and a refreshing break at the spa

Take the road back through the hills. The air is crisp and the views generous. Between two villages, an impromptu wine tasting* or a shady break will extend the walk.

Evening Paddle at dusk and a night under the stars

The sun is setting in Clisson. It’s time to glide across the water on a paddle with Canoë Kayak de Clisson. The Friday evening trip (14 July to 15 August) offers 1? hours of peace and quiet, cradled by the river Sèvre. As the day sets, the reflections dance.

Take advantage of the many restaurants on site for a tasty break in this peaceful setting.

Day 2 Canoeing, nature and guinguette at Pont Caffino

Morning Full of adventure at Pont Caffino

Early in the morning, Pont Caffino wakes up in a golden light. Hire a canoe from the water sports centre and set off on an adventure along the Maine. Cliffs line the meandering river, birds peek through the foliage, and the suspension bridge becomes the backdrop for a trip that’s as soothing as it is invigorating.

For thrill-seekers, climbing, tree-climbing, archery and zip-lining complete the experience. Here, each activity invites you to engage in a dialogue with the elements.

Midi Guinguette spirit at the water's edge for your cycling and canoeing weekend

Just a stone’s throw from the base, the Guinguette Pont Caffino welcomes you. Wooden tables, live music and a relaxed atmosphere. Here you can enjoy tapas and finger food, with a cheerful, seasonal flavour. Local wine and beers* are a natural accompaniment.

Passing through in winter? No problem! “La Guinguette” becomes “Le Refuge” for the cooler months: central fireplace, warm plaids, a menu based on fondues and raclettes, and always a beautiful view over the Maine valley.

Afternoon and evening The Velideale for one last pedal stroke

For a gentle ride back to Nantes, take the Vélidéale at Vertou or La Haye-Fouassière. This greenway offers a final panorama of the Loire: gently sloping vineyards, shady paths, glimpses of the Sèvre Nantaise in the corner of your eye. And the Loire, in the distance, at the finish. A weekend that’s both active and contemplative.

Testimonial from a sporting weekend: Canoeing at Pont Caffino

A magical, immersive experience in the natural setting of Pont Caffino. The volunteers gave me a very warm welcome and I wasn’t disappointed by the walk! I’d definitely recommend this for a quality outing!
