Numerous competitions and prizes greatly stimulate the quality of the processing of local products. It’s this emulation that gives rise to the gustatory pleasures to be found in the bakeries, pork-butcheries and cheese-makers, the market-gardeners, wine-growers, stock-breeders and arboriculturists, and on the tables of restaurants for the pleasure of all gourmets and gourmands.

For example, the Clémence Lefeuvre prize is the name given to an all-female jury that has been awarding a Muscadet every year since 1993.
