Regulatory text in force :
Law of 11 February 2005 on equal rights and opportunities, participation and citizenship for people with disabilities. Establishments open to the public (E.R.P) must be accessible to all disabled people by 1 January 2015 (law of 11 February 2005 on equal rights and opportunities, participation and citizenship for disabled people). This law already applies to all public buildings and rental accommodation projects for which planning permission was submitted after 1 January 2007.
A Tourisme & Handicap certification process in no way replaces the compliance requirements of this law. Checking that your facilities comply with the law is the responsibility of an accessibility control office.

Acceslibre is a national digital service providing information on the level of accessibility of establishments open to the public: restaurants, shops, cinemas, etc. The aim is to enable all users, whatever their disability, to find out whether an establishment is accessible to them.
