Historically one of the oldest wine estates in the Nantes vineyards, Château Briacé became a centre for teaching and passing on wine production know-how in 1957.
The Briacé school estate is now a real life-size training ground for students at the Briacé Lycée and Further Education College!
Adjacent to the school, the estate serves as a teaching aid for the students, who take part in the estate's day-to-day work alongside the estate's employees.
Château Briacé wines are produced under three appellations: AOC Muscadet Sèvre-et-Maine, AOC Gros Plant du Pays Nantais and IGP Val de Loire.
Respectful of the environment, the estate has practised integrated farming (Terra Vitis label) since 2001. Today, 7 hectares are farmed organically, with the majority of the estate in the process of conversion. No insecticides have been used on the estate's vines since 1998.
All year round, bring your family and friends to discover our wines, made in collaboration with the winemakers of tomorrow!
Whether it's a wine tasting, a visit to the cellar or an introduction to wine tasting, share moments of pleasure and passion with our team!
