The Loire à vélo cycle route is the western section of Eurovélo 6, known as the "Euro véloroute des fleuves", which links the Atlantic seaboard to the Black Sea by cycling along the rivers (Loire, Rhine, Danube) through 10 countries.
The Loire by bike in Loire-Atlantique winds its way through the Nantes vineyards.
From the Bellevue bridge, the route south of the Loire links Nantes to Ancenis via Saint-Julien de Concelles, Divatte sur Loire and Champtoceaux, with a 10-kilometre greenway reserved for pedestrians, cyclists and horses, in a dedicated lane (no cars) along the Levée de la Divatte, on the south bank of the Loire in the communes of Basse-Goulaine, Saint-Julien de Concelles and Divatte sur Loire.
