Since 1995, the artist has been collecting and painting South American birds one by one, starting with toucans, which are an inexhaustible source of expression for him, depicting them with extreme realism. |
In this work, tropical flora plays the leading role, showing the unique biodiversity of South America. Ferns, araceae, palms, lianas and orchids colonise the painting and soar towards the light with imagination and fantasy.
