Le plan d'eau du Chêne

Today, the Plan d'Eau du Chêne is a place for relaxation and leisure in the heart of nature, with a stretch of water surrounded by paths, green areas and picnic areas. It is located at the entrance to the commune of Saint-Julien-de-Concelles, around 20 km south-east of Nantes.

The Plan d'Eau du Chêne offers a wide range of activities:
*Walks and hikes around the lake: several signposted circuits take you around the lake on paths accessible to all, including families and people with reduced mobility.
*Fitness trail and children's play areas, picnic areas and barbecues.

*Beach volleyball, tennis, boules and other sports facilities.
*Arboretum and botanical trail: an educational trail to discover wetland plants has been created in collaboration with the Lycée Agricole de Briacé.
*Fishing, pedalos, kayaks and optimists for water-based activities.
*Sailing and supervised water sports: the local CAP Sports & Nature association organises courses, introductory courses and more advanced activities (optimist, catamaran, paddle, etc.), open to all and accessible to schoolchildren and leisure centres.
