About us
This is a historical comedy-drama with cabaret numbers inside!
Paris 1940, with the arrival of the Germans, the Vichy government decides that the City of Light must continue to shine.
Restaurants, theatres, cabarets and brothels remained open throughout the Occupation.
In Montmartre, the troupe of a cabaret went through this troubled period with determination. The audience was made up of Nazis, militiamen, collaborators, resistance fighters and ordinary people. Despite fear, threats and passion, hope lives on and the show must go on!
In parallel with the daily life of the troupe, "La Main" was created: a vast resistance movement with the aim of taking Paris back underground.
The Montmartre branch was led by the mime Silenzio, who called it "La main bleue".
