In the heart of the Nantes vineyards at Gorges, the Château du Bois-Huaut offers activities based around oenology.

Located in the heart of the Nantes vineyards in Gorges, Château du Bois-Huaut has been hand-picking its 14 different grape varieties (Muscadet, Sauvignon, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, Rosé, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet, Mousseux and liquoreux) since 1897. This historic wine estate has been run by winemakers from father to son for over 4 generations. It offers oenology courses and tasting sessions of dry, semi-dry, sweet and syrupy wines, as well as vintage and barrel-aged wines, in the company of the winemaker, to make the most of all the aromas. | Visitors will be able to taste their favourites from a wide range of wines, in comfortable and friendly conditions. Oenology courses are scheduled from Monday to Sunday. Oenology workshops can be held at your home on request.
