A green, shady park ideal for a day out in nature, with 1,100 animals from five continents (felines, great apes, giraffes, etc.), semi-liberty areas and our free-flying bird show. New for 2024: the Amur panthers.

Classed as one of the world's most beautiful animal parks, the Parc Zoologique de la Boissière du Doré boasts a remarkable collection of species just 30 minutes from Nantes and Cholet. Right in the heart of the Nantes vineyards, a team of enthusiasts look after more than 1,100 animals, including many species in danger of extinction, such as the orang-utan, the park's emblem. |

From large wooden walkways, come and discover the vast spaces where giraffes, zebras, antelopes, lions, bears and the rhinoceros family live.

Discover the unusual in the Asian, South American and Australian aviaries: binturongs, armadillos, dendrobates, sloths, lorikeets, wallabys...|

Spend an unusual night at the height of the giraffes or facing the rhinos in one of our Africa Lodges. New in 2023, 2 lodges facing the giraffes: a cocooning SPA and a family SPA with jacuzzi for up to 9 people.

Considered to be one of the rarest felines in the world, with only around a hundred individuals recorded in the wild, the Amur leopard is part of a European conservation programme (EEP). In 2024, the Zoo de la Boissière du Doré is proud to be taking part in the work to save this animal, with the long-term aim of gradually reintroducing individuals into their natural environment in order to reduce the risk of extinction. |

In 2025, the Parc Zoologique de la Boissière du Doré is unveiling its big new feature: Le Territoire des Loups, an area entirely redesigned to accommodate a pack of 9 wolves. This natural setting offers a unique immersive experience, allowing visitors to observe these emblematic predators moving freely in a hilly environment. |

The park is also keen to reinforce its commitment to safeguarding animals in their natural environment. To this end, €1 from every admission ticket will be donated to the Boissière Mervent Conservation association, which funds over twenty conservation programmes around the world.
