Shady undergrowth, colourful vines and the Maine River as the main theme of this nature walk!
Description
The route starts with a climb through pretty undergrowth and then takes you into more open countryside right in the heart of the vineyards. You then switch to the river section of the route, taking a very pleasant path through shady undergrowth where you can hear the splash of a small stream nearby. Then, after a short climb, you'll overlook the River Maine. After overlooking it from the top of a hillside, walk along its banks to get as close to it as possible. After leaving the river to wander through vineyards and villages, you'll come back to the Maine at its wildest. The walk ends in the magnificent setting of the steep cliffs of Pont Caffino, with the Porte-Vue in the background.
