In the heart of the Sèvre and Maine valleys, along the vineyards.
Description
In the Nantes vineyards, in the heart of the Sèvre and Maine valleys, a high-quality itinerary runs along the banks or on the hillsides of the Sèvre nantaise and Maine rivers. This is the Sèvre et Maine GRP (Grande Randonnée de Pays) trail. This trail is the backbone of the region, with a number of walking loops built around it. It runs from Nantes to Boussay along the Sèvre Nantaise and from Nantes to Remouillé along the Maine. It then continues into the neighbouring department of Vendée, forming the Boucle du Vignoble, a 103km itinerary.
The landscapes here are as varied as the 2 rivers along the way, and the vineyards change with the seasons. The route is signposted in yellow and red.
