Christmas at the Zoo de la Boissière-du-Doré

As the festive season approaches, La Boissière-du-Doré Zoo is transformed into a veritable Christmas village. Under the Christmas lights, the alleys come alive, the chalets are illuminated and the atmosphere becomes warm, lively and deeply festive.

Over several weekends, the park offers a magical Christmas market, combining crafts, delicacies, entertainment and unusual encounters with animals.

Concerts, shows, a mini-farm, children’s activities, Father Christmas… Here, every moment becomes a memory to be shared.

For the duration of the event, the visit to the park continues in a unique atmosphere.

The animals’ feedings are commented on by the zoo’s animators, offering a different view of the species, even in winter. The winter light, Christmas decorations and calm of the season give the park a very special poetic quality.

From late afternoon onwards, the heart of the park becomes an area entirely dedicated to the Christmas market, free of charge, with its chalets, entertainment, restaurants and games for children.
