Justine & Benoit discovered North American microbreweries while travelling the roads of Quebec. They were quick to embrace the concept: drinking beer produced exclusively on site, in a convivial atmosphere!
The microbrewery project remained in the back of their minds for a few years, but after starting a family and a few years of brewing, developing recipes and testing in the garage, Benoit developed his know-how and became a professional.
In 2022, he met the Eco-Dyn company and discovered the Sainte Radegonde site in Loroux-Bottereau. They quickly set up their microbrewery there, in the spirit of a country "brewpub". Brasserie Soma was built around a commitment to the environment, quality products and a friendly atmosphere.
