A listed site and part of the European Natura 2000 network, the marsh has a wide variety of high-quality landscapes (wet meadows, willow groves, reedbeds, alluvial bocage, etc.) and is a haven for many plant and animal species.

Nearly 200 species of bird, rare fish such as the bouvière and the important spawning ground for pike, butterflies such as the damier de la succise and amphibians such as the triton crêté find shelter on the more than 2000 hectares of the Goulaine marshes. |
|
Come and discover this natural masterpiece from the footpaths along its edge, via the Maison Bleue, a nature discovery centre, and the Ouen bridge. You can also admire the entire marsh from the 360° panorama from the Butte de la Roche near the Maison Bleue.

However, the marsh remains largely private, and navigation is prohibited for all media. |
