German artist Cornelia Konrads composes "in situ" installations. Her works, created with natural elements (branches, leaves, stones...), are inspired by the forms present in the landscape and divert them to reveal their poetic, funny and magical side.
Description
For the Garenne Lemot property, the artist has designed new follies, taking inspiration from and diverting the historical follies present in the park to create strange stories and enter a surreal universe. Thus, from the entrance to the property, the statues of Hippomenes and Atalanta play an unusual match and set the tone for the works scattered in the shady alleys.
Le Voyage à Nantes project co-produced by the Department of Loire-Atlantique, owner of the Domaine de la Garenne Lemot.
Visible until the end of june 2021.
